The images were made between early October and Christmas

Very nice photos, the ones with water reflections are my preference

Dave is back -- splendid landscape photography being the trade mark.

Was wondering what our friendly Scottish host was up to but apparently still out and about making great images of the local landscapes :)

Thank you all so much - Paco, Nasos, Jan Anne and Birna - it''s been a long time since I last posted here and I've been missing my NG friends. I don't want to talk about health, but mine is not good, and most of the time I lack the energy to do new work. But occasionally I manage to get out and try to do something, and the 6 images I posted plus another 6 or 8 represent my output for the three autumn months. I am helped by having wonderful views of our local hills, from our own garden - no need to hike around carrying heavy gear, I just step out of our front door.
It's good to be back - thanks again to all of you.

So glad you're back--missed you and your images. Someday I hope to see Scotland for myself but in the meantime it's wonderful to see through your eyes, through your images. Really appreciate you sharing. You, and the many wonderful people of this community, are in heart and mind for this new year...

I always enjoy your images, Dave. Welcome back! Great to know that you keep yourself inspired nevertheless.
-
David, these pictures seem different from some of your earlier work and the difference is all about bright light and rich color. Composition as always is spot on. They are clarifying and pleasing to my eye. Only twelve in this season of your life? These are proof that less is more. Fight on! Tom

Welcome back David, and compliments of the season to you and your wife. Scotland is on my so called bucket list and your splendid photos are my Scottish travel substitute until such time that I make it to your part of the world.

So glad to see you back and have news from you, Dave, I often wonder how you are doing.
Beautiful pictures, as usual. You feed my desire to go back to Scotland.
Take care!

Thanks to everyone who has posted - it means a lot to me and I am so pleased you enjoy seeing my images.
I'm sorry I had two recent long absences from NG bit I intend not to let that happen again.
