An exceptionally rare reflex lens has come up for sale if anybody with large amounts of cash to burn is interested - only $21,964.37 US! The rest of us may find the video interesting. The lens features are shown (built-in ND filters to simulate stopping down!) and it's used for video, even at night.

At least a nice (aluminium ?) case included ! ;)

I think if I had 22k to spend on Nikon lenses I would go with the two small 400 and 800 mm S-line lenses on the roadmap......and then see what was left?

Putting that monster lens on a tiny tripod made me cringe :(

And this cringe is very justified. What a nightmare to give a lens of that type such a poor support.
BTW
I would see this 1000 F/6,3 Reflex lens as a collectors item
