Incidentally, Nikon Museum will hold an exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of F2 and a special exhibition of Cine Nikkors from 21. August:

i will go there (but not on 31) ::)

according to Sato-san its just 1 cine nikkor on show if i understood him correctly.

No worries!  According to the description on the official website, about 30 prototype Cine Nikkors will be displayed.  They also show a movie shot with Z7 and the prototype of Cine Zoom Nikkor 12-120mm/f2.2 (for 16mm film) from 1963:

o, really! when are you going there? lets go together! :o :o :o
i think we could meet some people from Nikon there but they are mostly on remote from what I know ::) the curator is probably there, i hope. he used to be an engineer.

Rick, I would agree that this would be one of the good chances to see each other in person.  However, I haven't yet been vaccinated and would still like to avoid as many extra outings as possible.  Fortunately, the exhibition will last until the end of February next year, so, there WILL be chances.  You are going to visit the exhibition in multiple times, right?   :)

i will get my 1st shot this week. suginami is very slow when it comes to vaccines, very stupid. :o :o :o

i think i will only go there once. it is too far from me. ::)

Ota-ku was a slow-starter, too.  :(  I will be busy in translating and writing articles maybe until the middle of next month and I want to avoid a possible adverse reaction to the vaccine that would interrupt my work for several days.  Let's stay safe!
