This was the sunrise observed for the first time in a week, and a narrow band of the cloud let me enjoy the sunrise "twice".

Below and above the narrow band of clouds, Mr Cloud.
Love it!

Thank you, Jakov! The "second" sunrise turned to be that way just as expected. 8)

Akira:
Pretty neat, your patience was rewarded to get the second one, which I actually prefer. Our sunrises have been more muted this summer with all the smoke and debris in the air from the Western wildfires.

Randy, thank you for visiting and commenting. Am glad you enjoyed the images. So far as the patience is concerned, I'm no match for you as loon shooter! These "two" sunrises were only 11 minutes apart.

Wonderful capture. In a time-lapse together with music, it could be the start of a movie.

Interesting event Akira. I specially enjoy the first image with all the parallel lines of cables, city buildings, clouds, light gradients and what not. Both together makes it even more special

Thank you, Peter. That would be a promising idea. The time-lapse could be even played back and forth for one of the Monty Python series...

Thank you, Paco. The two-step sunrise was interesting, but I really liked the lighting condition and multiple natural and artificial elements rendered as silhouettes.
