Nikkor noct apparently minimal vignetting on small digital medium format?

The sensor is 33x44mm. So diagonal is 55mm.
FX is 43mm diagonal.

Fast lenses like the Noct usually have high mechanical vignetting at wide apertures even on their native format, on the larger format it will be even worse. At smaller apertures these lenses can often cover a slightly larger image circle without too much vignetting, although resolution is often poor due to field curvature, coma, CA and other aberrations. This is similar to some DX lenses which can cover FX format.

If you watch the video it did pretty well. The biggest problem is that there is no lens shutter like there would be in a classic hasselblad lens, and the camera doesn’t have a focal plane shutter so it uses a rather slow electronic shutter - apparently taking about 1/3 second to scan out. Makes it useless for anything that moves.

Yup and that actually makes the whole Youtube  questionable.

What a horrible person. I’m happy I’m not a ‘creative’, as it carries heavy baggage.

I thought the funniest part was when he said he was mad at H. For not letting him return a $1000 adapter he bought. It made me realize that it is likely that many youtubers buy, review and then return equipment. Maybe I’m too old, but I usually don’t return something after I’ve used it unless it doesn’t work like it is supposed to. Buying gear for a review and returning it is kind of like buying a wedding dress and returning it after the wedding.
