When the weather warms up a bit and the sun comes out Capetonians head to the coast for some spiritual rejuvenation.

The first one is interesting as it has photograph(er)(s) within the photograph and obviously, could serve as the foundation on an entire series of pictures on its own.
The second one prepares me for the inevitable gulls when I arrive there later this month :D
The third one wasn't loaded at the time of my initial comment. I observe it now. The double contour of a moving person could be made stronger and more expressive if you had moved in closer, but perhaps the tidal pools were the main subject and the person just happened to enter the frame during the exposure?

You are right on all accounts Bjorn. The figures in the 3rd image were intruders while shooting the rock pools but they could make a good subject on their own.

Just looked at that first image and realised that - sadly - its not me

I love how the sunlight shapes the neck of the woman in the first picture. In the second shot, I find it a pity that the left wing of the bird on the left is cut off. But I love the "pose" of the bird on the right. For the last shot, I also think that the "intrudors" are a great addition!

I like the # 1 .
I don't know what these peoples are doing, but I really like this picture # 1.
Amazing (back) lighting and perfect compo.
-
Great action with kids and gulls. Wonderful dynamics.

The first image is special.
The shapes of people is amazing, they look like statues...
-
Great capture, just the right light and PP.
I love the guy with the cloth over the view camera...

Thanks all for looking and commenting.
The people in Pic #1 were all standing near the ocean watching the waves pounding the rocky shore. The Man closest to the ocean had a jacket draping his camera to keep the spray from the waves off his camera. I have no idea what the main subject (lady) was doing but the whole scene certainly caught my eye.

Impressive surrealistic, that first one, with the 'two thumbs up'- lady ;) I like the seagulls too.
