You have managed to make the flower very sensual - kudos, Michael.

Has a ghostly quality - love the grading in the colours.

Well, thanks Bjørn. Flowers are among the most sensually explicit photo objects. I even have some flower photos I don't dare even post.

Now, this is lovely. Might make a few word puns on the main elements and their interrelationships, but they aren't necessary in order to enjoy the outcome.

Fabulous composition and color.  Remember how most color films could not reproduce the blue color of the Morning Glory ?

That was probably due to the residual nIR sensitivity of the colour film. Fuj Velvia RVP was bad in this respect.

Stunning indeed in its apparent simplicity, that #1 shot...

And some "friends" ask me why I insist in shooting flowers. They shoud have a look here.

Somptuous colors. :)

Did you use a close-up ring attached to this 55mm lens or it's just a crop ?

Thanks for sharing, Francis.

I don't use close-up lenses, almost never. I sometimes use a small amount of extension like 5.8mm or 8mm.

The first shot is absolutely beautifull, best flower shot in a long time! Well done.
