Title: Landscape – beautiful or unimaginative
Post by: Eric Borgström on August 02, 2015, 10:59:01
The first half hour of sunlight. Beautiful but perhaps uninspired; No own thought really. Is the photographers contribution just one of a technician?

And what do you think of the distortion? Using the 30mm lens on a Hasselblad V you get distortion. Picture one is PP in Lightroom with the program´s maximal distortion correction, the second one in Hasselblads own Phocus. Here you get full correction but a lesser angle of view.

Another gorgeous image!

To get decent  landscapes  it takes effort to get up early, travel, and when the nice light is gone , go home and edit the images

The correction in LR is affecting the sharpness in the corners, the only thing that in my opinion needs some correcting is the horizon, I would fix that in PS and leave the tree and nearby rocks unaffected

Eric - much one can say about the image - and at the same time it's nice as is.
I too would correct horizon - and anything else I would do would just be personal - not necessarily make it better
The good morning colours really makes it a lovely scene
