Post by: Mike G on April 03, 2020, 16:18:37
Every year this tree blossoms to my delight, right outside my front door.
Z6 + Z 85mm @ 1/500 f5.6 ISO100 for both!

Mike,

Acer (Maple) blossoms are hardly noticeable, and are most showy in the fall, but the early shoots are quite colorful if you look closely.

That is Prunus (stone fruits such as cherry, plum, almond, apricot...) of some variety which brings in the spring with a show of flowers.

Jack I bow to your greater knowledge.

I reckon I make the same mistake every year.  :-*
