how do the corners look? can I make the Z6 use this in FX mode? :o :o :o
-
Probably not as I think the camera prevents its use in FX mode. It will default to DX. Not seen any option for overruling that.
-
that's sad :o :o :o
would have been great since it's so tiny ::)
-
Indeed unfortunately a modified 10,5mm fisheye with its hood cut also reverts to crop mode with the Z6.

What if you put it on a “dumb” adapter, or tape the contacts?
-
Hard to use an adapter for a Z lens on a Z camera, unless it is an extension ring....
Taping the contacts probably "helps".
-
this is so sad. a firmware update should fix this :o :o :o

some of us have been waiting a long time for simple FW updates to fix issues, but those updates don't come. :(

I thought the 10.6 was F mount DX?

Z6 has had more FW updates than Df did in several years. Not saying they are fast, but they are faster.

A good trend.

16-50 is DX in Z mount. Thus it would work to perfection on my Z50, if I were to buy it.
10.5 Fish is DX in F-mount. If the lens hood is shaved off, it can do pretty well on FX camera (DSLRs) as the image covers > 200 degrees there. With two captures one can even get perfect circular fisheye images.
