The man that arrived ten minutes later actually wanted to fish but he might have had some coffee in his bag.

I find this very beautiful. A great capture of this peaceful atmosphere and the great colours.

Thanks for sending the sun back our way where it belongs - our day now 35 minutes longer than mid-winter.

I like the striations in the FG rocks - scoured out by moving ice from the last ice age.

Susanne and Richard, thanks for commenting. As to the borrowed sun, it and many friendly people in SA gave us of their warmth last February when it was weak here in the north. /Eric

Actually now the sun rises at 7:10. Still on Daylight Saving Time but fall is here and the temperature is 3°C.
