Keith, Very nice photo! I'm interested by the way the bokeh circles are cut at various different angles across the frame, and the way that some of the rainbow spectra are mirrored, but others not.  I'm guessing that there were many vignetting objects (leaves? stems?) out of focus in the foreground.  Anyway, the result is an intriguing photo.  Cheers, John

Keith, that's beautiful, innovative, and really fascinating, all in one.

Keith, there is nothing as lovely as a blurry image, depicting the shallow depth of field and a smooth background with some funkiness going on. Well done!

Thank you all for your comments.
John(Beryllium10)-No objects in between lens and subject.  Lens wide open (50mm @ f/2), no filter glass.  Probably caused by oddly shaped (non-circular) specular highlights??
Jakov-High praise from one of the masters.  Thank you.
Fons- I'll make a small print, A3+ (13"x19") and see what happens.
