Title: 15 days of Kathmandu

This must be the 5th or 6th time i come to Kathmandu or Nepal, first time '73 or '74 the one time before in 2000, imagine much has changed since then.
From small towns dotted in a rich green valley to an overcrowded smog polluted dirty large city within that same valley.
Still the people are nice friendly non agressive.
Like it's said  'Welcome to Nepal'.

Thanks for sharing Fons.....  I did visit Nepal in 2007 and have nice memories......just upgraded from a D80 to a D300 before the trip... did a fly-over of Mount Everest and also visited Nagarkot where the Himalayan range could be viewed.... Thanks Fons for giving me the opportunity to contribute to your post...

Fons, your images are full of information well worth trying to decode.  I like the vivid colors as well.  Thank you for sharing!

Fons, very nice selection of images,  I agree that they are very colourful.   I have not been since early 1970's and lasting impression was dust.   Thanks for sharing.

These images were taken the first few days, many are on flickr now and still a lot to process as well.

I brought little gear, the Z6, s-lenses 35/1.8 and 50/1.8, afs 20mm /1.8, 70-300/4.5-5.6E, and but rarely used 85mm /1.8H, Voigt 90/3.5, four batteries and 250gb on cardspace.

Workflow i chose for cc2018 and dxo as a plugin.
 
I must add that my reason for travelling wasnot a sightseeing one.

Wonderful vibrant impression of the streets of Kathmandu. I especially love your last one that contains multiple scenes in one photo! Beautifully captured.
