The beginning of blue in the sky makes it look like you had an all-nighter, Mike. I hate when it starts getting light outside and I'm still not home and in bed!

If memory serves me well(not a given these days!) it was around 0400, but now I’m not at all sure, and from my cabin I could see the tips of the spires, so I went on deck and the Dom was lit up, so as I was awake!

Mike, if you shoot RAW or keep the original JPEG, you should be able to check their property to make sure when you released (assuming that you had set the correct date and time)!

Akita, Pluton, here is a screenshot showing the Exif. And it turns out 0400 wasn’t a bad guess!

Mike, I failed to remember the word EXIF!  I guess your memory system is working more properly than mine.   :o :o :o

I would need some sleep anyway!  The very first CF card I bought years ago was 48MB which cannot even take a single image!   :o :o :o

Hello,
Why use a tripod for a 1/6 exposure with 12800 ISO gain? I mean, the Cathedral isn't going anywhere so might as well take your time with the setting lol.

Cyril, don’t read too much into the word tripod, it’s a camera plate with three fold out legs, I got it as a free gift when buying something else! It’s very small for use on a table! Just used it to get the angle right. No way I could handhold at that shutter speed!
