Bought a few of those cheap Chinese Filters for reflected UV photography, to see if the rumor about their not so good Quality Control (QC) is true..

Well, those two out of eight filters had prominent glass striae ("streaks" commonly called)!

Hope you will get the proper replacements! They seem to be equivalents of Hoya U-3X0 series.

Does this mean that the other 6 filters were properly OK?
Or did they just suffer to a lesser degree, not worthy of commenting upon?
If the former, then 1 in 4(25% failure rate) is probably too high a risk to take.
