Title: Great Cormorant
Post by: Bear Dale on September 10, 2019, 03:44:54
Great Cormorant

Some definite halo around the edges, but I do like those eyes.

Scientific name: Phalacrocorax carbo

Great image. Congrats.
Which gear?

The EXIF says: Nikon D850, focal length 500mm, 1/2000" @5.6

BTW, well chosen perspective! The hooky beak menacing the observer is special!

Ciao from Massimo

Thanks Peter I'm really liking the Nikkor 200-500mm lens.

Nice angle and framing! But some of the 'grain' is too visible or got too much sharpening so a little disturbing

Yes there is Erik and that halo is very annoying also. I've tried numerous procedures but to no avail.
