Was in Dubai not too long ago and got some long exposure shots along the Sheikh Zayad road using the Nikon D850 with the 24-70 f2.8VR lens (1st, 2nd and 4th pictures) and the 14-24 f2.8 (3rd picture).

Very very nice captures of night scenes from that pulsating city. I did the city in IR the one (and only) time I visited Dubai.
The last one in the series is outstanding.
-
Chu, impressive night-scapes!
Like Birna, i like the last one, too!
The BW one is not bad either :)
-
The last one is spectacular! I also like the B&W abstraction which reminds me of the movie "Tron".
Thank you for sharing!

Thank you Birna, Jakov and Akira. Dubai has lots of photo ops...didn't get the opportunity to get to Abu Dhabi where the Zheikh Zayed mosque is yet another good one...

Awesome material.
Congrats.

Beautiful shots! Could you give us an idea of how you st up the camera to take them?

thank you Arthur. First two taken at the rooftop lounge of the Four points by Sheraton hotel using a tripod. Last two from the fitness center balcony at the Shangri-la hotel. The roof top lounge at the four points is open to the general public, but the fitness center balcony is reserved for hotel guests. Non guests would have to check availability, make a reservation and pay a fee to have access to the balcony at the Shangri-la.

Very well done! yes the B&W and the last one stand out as favorites ;)

Very good work. The science fiction flavor is strong and very appealing, specially, as noted, the last one.
Thanks for sharing it!
