Post by: David Paterson on June 30, 2019, 09:58:05: The heatwave ended here in Scotland 36 hours ago, with a strange cloud-formation which I have never seen before.

Post by: David Paterson on July 01, 2019, 10:09:32: Thanks to everybody for commenting. The sky has always been a particular interest of mine, and I'm always alert for something different.

As for the heat-wave - here we had almost 30ºC three days in a row. This is considered very hot here in Scotland but I realise that it is mild by international standards, and I have experienced real heat - in excess of 40º - in other countries, notably Saudi Arabia.
