Title: Sky on Fire
Post by: David Paterson on June 19, 2019, 17:19:02
I found this sunset sky quite troubling, as if globai warming was happening right before my eyes. With daytime temperatures in some parts of India approaching 50ÂșC perhaps we should all be troubled.

The image had very little PP, just some slight tonal adjustment, no increase in saturation.

Stunning image!

That said, I also share the concern about the unusual climate all over the world.  In India, the postponed beginning of the typhoon season is causing drought.

The dynamic shapes of clouds are exciting to photograph, but I always concern about the unusual and often crazy climate.

Thanks, Akira. We often have poor weather here in Scotland but we also have frequent beautiful skies, and not only sunsets.

Great sky. A bit Turner like colors and composition.

Thanks, Bruno, and you are right about Turner - I didn't think of that.
