This new lens is discounted in Germany to only €348. Looks like the full frame price war is heating up. More info https://geizhals.eu/nikon-z-50mm-1-8-s-schwarz-jma001da-a1872245.html I ordered one ;D

Cool, all of Nikon Europe is having the Summer Sale. Really never see anything like that in India but you have to call your regular dealers who will have Nikon discounted prices.
Enjoy :)

€348 is around $US389 at the moment - not sure if the €348 quoted has taxes included.
Here in Melbourne the 50mm Z lens is ~$US610 plus tax, and its 35mm Z stable mate is ~$US840 plus tax.
The current equivalent F-mount lenses are selling for ~$US175 plus tax for the 50mm f/1.8G black version and ~$US455 plus tax for the FX 35mm f/1.8G.
It will be interesting to see just how long it takes for European lens price reductions to filter down to us in the southern hemisphere. Often we can negotiate better deals on the day, especially if one buys a body and lens kit or if one waits for a "Black Friday" sale.

The €348 is incl. taxes (VAT).

A lot of Nikon items are on sale now for the summer months:

With the 35/1.8S dipping below the €700 incl vat the time has come to order one :)

In the Netherlands the 50/1.8 S is still €649. :(
I’m told the discounts will come to the Netherlands as well.

Hi Chris, I ordered from Foto Mundus in Germany. They deliver to Holland, shipping is an extra €20. I have good experiences with them.
