Title: Time for some winter images
Post by: Bjørn J on July 24, 2015, 15:44:55
Everybody keeps posting these beautiful summer photos. I think it's time for a reminder of the times ahead, at least for some of us...

1: Berit showeling snow off our porch.
2: Follow the snowplough! Taken with a 70-200 while driving at around 60 km/h.
3: Arctic ice cream
4: The ferry has arrived

Some nice wintershots and also a nice reminder about enjoying the summer while it's here (...at the northern hemisphere). I particularly like #2 and 4 - great chill factor as well  :D

Bjørn (and Lars in this case), the summer should be precious for you Nordic people, but for us living in Tokyo, it is torture!

So, thanks for sending cold air!  #1 looks familiar to me, and I love it!

For me, these images, (#1 is my fav), are a demonstration of winter. Not a lot of difference between my winter photos and summer photos here.  :(

Wow, number 2! It's a bit surreal looking at those while being on summer holiday (at 36 degrees Celsius). :)

#2 is really good. #3 is a great display of optimism :)

Ps. I hope this is not your current weather condition...

1st and 2nd are fantastic. Action, lines, color, her expression, location... in the first and that really cool ambiance in the second one, with a minimalist approach about how much information in dispalyed works very well. Creates the tension of the unknown.
