Michael,

Stunning as usual.  I like the context.  Is it a stack?  I assume that it is.

The atmosphere is just sublime!

Michael, I don't know how you get sRGB to look so good.

Great pop out effect and composition. I see a lot of sharpening
artifacts though

Another stunning image. I don't see the sharpening artifacts Frank mentions?

I always find such comments humorous. Of course there will always be artifacts in ANY sampling technique, be it audio, video, or stacking focus. It is nice if we can keep them down to a gentle roar, but they will be there. In focus stacking, at least in my opinion, we are going for an impression. For sure, some of us are bean counters, but when I look at someone else's images, perhaps I see defects, but mostly I am having my impression of their impression. That's enough for me, but what the hay, I never consider any of my photos finished, always just a way-stone on the path.

I love the clarity of this foto. You found the Essence of echinacea. I like the background echos.
