Can you tell us what you used to take some of these?
And maybe locations (if you're willing to share)?

The gear I use for most of my wildlife work comprise a 600mm ƒ4
+ D850 /combo on gimbal and a 200~400 f4 + D850 as well and
on gimbal too. Both on Gitzo serie 5 tripods.
And maybe locations (if you're willing to share)?
These were shot at a close by marsh in the south of Styria.

Fantastic light and wings position, really like the contrast against the blue sky
-
Good shot of bird(obviously), but extra good that the clouds contribute to the composition and fill out the frame.

Cheers gentlemen! :P

Thanks Nikkor Shooter.
I don't know about the "Great" model, but there are some lakes near me in S.W. England which have some small and medium sized egrets. I think we've only had then for the past 10 years or so, so rather exciting for us.
This was only taken with a D300 and 300mm F4 AFS and is a low-res copy.
Some of you may recognise Glastonbury Tor in the background

I don't know about the "Great" model,
What I see on your take is the Great white Egret!
