Wow! Terrific shots. The D850/600mm f/4 combo is as near to perfection for birding as it gets. The sharpness and color saturation are incredible and you’ve obviously mastered the handling of a fairly ungainly setup to the nth degree. Well done!

Magnificent!

It is amazing how much they change in appearance from juvenile to adult plummage. Head color, beak color and tail color all change. If one didn’t know, one would think the adult and juvenile birds were unrelated.
