Title: Freelens samples of interesting Angenieux projection lens, TV1 120mm f1.2
Post by: Toby on July 25, 2018, 18:19:29
I have only had a few minutes to try a new lens at home, and that only holding the lens as I do not have the correct helicoid, This is a TV1, a lens made for a projection TV system that was never realized, so apparently the lens is quite rare.

Here are a few quick samples. I look forward to having the lens correctly mounted and testing it with some real subjects. As it stands, the lens is quite bloomy, but has a very characteristic and unique rendering that I quite like. See what you think.

I am in the process of moving and working and will not have access to my lenses for a while, but as soon as I am settled I will try this a bit more seriously.

Saw that lens on ebay by that projection lens "raider" which buys about anything to list it at ridiculous prices on ebay.
Leica-Post has it also listed on ebay.

Looks like an interesting lens indeed and has a very unique drawing!
