A recent sale of an unused computer meant some funds towards a D850 which were 10% off and in plentiful stock here in Aus.
The files and colour are really nice and crisp and the autofocus is a significant step up from the D800E. The AFS 58mm is great on this thing as it focuses with convincing confidence.
Some stitching from the last few days. Billabong near Gidgegannup and storm coming in City Beach Western Australia

Some nice weather! It was pretty warm today here in Sydney, the winds were massive though. ;D

Congratulations on your new purchase. Your first image is my favorite, very nice framing using the trees and great reflections from the water. It must have been a very still day to get such superb reflections.

I upgraded my D800E to the D850 too. It definitely is one awesome camera. So much to like about it but I think my favorite feature is the back lit sensor and not needing long exposure noise reduction for night shots. My 'Holy Trinity' is the D850 w/70-200 F4, Df w/58 F1.2 Noct and Ricoh GR II...

It was about 14degrees and fresh around 2PM. Just paradise!

Thanks! Very clear and still day. Full image is 19665x7420 and detail is amazing. There are ducks on the water...

So, three photographs stitched together?

The seaside picture appeals to me strongly. I sure want to be at the sea rather than in Hospital
