I am having a problem loading the photos. Sorry.

Great storytelling. Especially that last image.
Thanks for sharing.

Okay, let's try this again. The NRA's annual convention was held in downtown Dallas, Texas this weekend. Here are a few shots from the protest rallies held outside of the convention center. I am currently working on the rest of the photos.
A huge mural of Wayne LaPierre, CEO of the National Rifle Association, greets visitors as they enter the convention.

Thanks, Andrew, for the reply. Sorry about the confusion on posting the images.

Totally agree. Looks like it contains various elements to read out.

great series, especially the last pic is dramatic and funny for me
I never can imagine a gunman and normal people standling like this in an official place
on the other side, seeing his hand in position to get the colt out and the lady opposite to him (from the saloon ;))
using the "Wanted" App, looks like Western 4.0

I don’t want to start a debate on guns or gun control, but I will tell you that in Texas, anyone licensed for concealed carry of a firearm may also carry openly. One has to pass a criminal background check and have training to get the concealed carry license. I can appreciate that it must seem quite odd to someone accustomed to European levels of gun restrictions to see a non-police officer openly carrying a firearm, but there is really no distinction between those who carry firearms and those who don’t other than that those who do have gone through the steps required to obtain a license.

Nice series
the one with the Trump puppet carrying him is hilarious

I want to thank everyone for the comments. It is much appreciated.

That has to be the greatest critique anyone could ever receive. Thank you, my friend. 8)

Rick,
Thank you for some excellent insight into a country gone mad.

I´m with Robert. It is a troublesome post. It is disturbing to see how opposite messages can coexist. Powerful stuff. As stated before, is not a place to take sides or personal opinions but this images are inviting to to think and debate...at least. Chapeau!
-
Rick, the shot of the guy with the mirror glasses stands out
reply #12 is stunning
-
Powerful disturbing set of images.
I doubt the gunslinger realises what a tosser he looks to this Englishman.

I.e guns and politics.
But we are probably not all at the same level playing field.

Well, if only we, the viewers of this thread, limit ourselves to commenting on the images without starting verbal discussion, there should be of no problem.
I don't think Rick's intention of posting these images is to start such a discussion.

This was an event. I shot it. What you are viewing is what I witnessed. In the original post, I made no political comment whatsoever. I simply stated what the event was, where it was, and when it was.

Rick,
The photos speak for themselves. I don’t think there is any need to make any political statement, or start a debate.
I really enjoy your contributions.
