I recently returned from a five-day trip to the Lofoten islands in North Norway, and these photos are from a meditative hour walking slowly on a beach, looking down. After a while I slide into a mental state that makes me forget my surroundings, I just concentrate on seeing, and when I "wake up" it takes a second or two until I realize where I am :)
Most of these are taken with the Nikkor 85mm PC-E - a fantastic lens!

I love the very abstract shots of *05.jpg
Reminds me very much of the shots I took in Pulathomas, Co Mayo in 1989 to 1991 for some exhibitions. Very nice memories. These pictorial sand formations are not very common and it is a great pleasure to see and photograph them.

I also like the simplicity of the images

Beautiful contemplative images. All from #3 onwards work very well for me; #1 and #2 a little less so.
-
Sand Paintings ... very very nice. Thank you for sharing your walk.

#3 and #5 stand out to me. All four images are simple, but they start to tell interesting stories as soon as you make pairs from them. Thanks for the inspiration!

.
Beautiful shots ! I love them.
So artistic...
they all deserve to be printed and hanged on the wall.
Bravo, Francis.

All are simply beautiful. I'll go for #8 :)

All interesting, but I particularly enjoyed the last two.

Nice set of abstract images. I like the organic look.
