Grandiose and beautiful place. The inclusion of the house is a very nice touch.
Thanks for sharing it!

Easy to imagine it's called Banff, damn banff it is.
-
Aguinaldo, I would assume that this was shot by Dave (Patterson) in Scotland, if no shooting data would be shown. :D
Wonderful scene anyway!

Thank you guys.
This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

I was in Banf a few years ago, but the snow was gone by then. Last year I wanted to visit but hotel rooms were scarce and expensive. It's great visit and the Canadians have great hospitality. Just make sure they hear you order a Rye Coke in the bars.

That is a beautiful photograph, Aguinaldo. The house adds a great sense of scale.

Thank you Ron and Ian for the kind comments.

I for one would not mistake this for Scotland.
It has Canadian Rockies written all over.
It looks like it could be somewhere in the northern part of Banff, along the Icefield Parkway, but I can't tell where exactly. Where?
The image is effective in giving a feel for the place; I have lived in Calgary many years ago and it brings back strong, happy memories of time spent on those mountains.
