Wow, 2nd one for me. It screams dead and desolate to me.

The first one is nice, but lacks that feeling IMHO.

the distance created in the second pic gives it a feeling of alone.

Like the mood in the 1st one - could possibly handle even more contrast to bake the deep shadows true black?

Thank you for the coment and tip, but for my taste the contrast is ok.
