Title: Birds from saturday - in color

Same session trying the awesome AF capabilities of the D5.
Most are boring and similar pictures (and they all are looking to the right , lol), but I like the results.
AF-S 500mm f/4G VR II.

Very attractive, lovely feather detail, tricky with an egret because it is so white.

Apart from the awesome AF, this is another characteristic of this camera that amazes me.

This birds are not small and I noticed the depth of field has both wings in focus, very well done !

Some nice ones here!  The real AF test is shooting crows at midnight!
