The first signs that winter is not going to last much longer.
I guess not a bad thing, given how unexciting this winter has been so far.
Not sure which to pick between #2 and #3...

Have you seen tonight's weather forecast?
Hope your lovely snowdrops survive.

Thank you Anthony, the snowdrops are not mine, I have none in my garden.
These were from my favourite country churchyard in Gawsworth.
Anyway, they are hardy plants that come out at a time when snow could be back at any moment, I think they will do just fine.
As for myself, I say: bring on the winter!
I would like to see double digit negative temperatures and lots of snow like a few years ago - that was the best winter I had in England - but it's not going to happen.

Hi Robert,
Lovely snowdrop, thanks for posting.
Apologies for the late reply, I was away visiting David in Killin.
I am currently sorting images trying to find if there were at least a few decent ones; the weather was horrific.

Hi Simone, thanks, there were so many lovely flowers to choose from!
I had hoped to be able to get up to Killin Thursday or Friday but having watched the weather forecast I chickened out... Stayed local. Friday was quite nice here, not as cold after Thursdays harsh gales.
Look forward to seeing your photos.
