Title: Plotting and scheming
Post by: RBSinTo on January 15, 2018, 14:46:19
Taken about a year ago in Chinatown here in Toronto. A Photobud and I were looking down into a below-ground courtyard at a large Mall when we spotted a group of men watching a game of Xiangqi an Oriental version of Chess, being played.
And liking the composition and unusual point of view, grabbed this shot.
motorized Nikon F3P

Nice one Robert - great angle you found for the shot.

This is also a popular game here in Melbourne - players in both the Chinese and the Vietnamese areas of the city are keen on it and it is always a very intense and serious business - as is also the case with European chess.  Some things are the same it seems.  ;D
