a recent collaboration between some makeup artists, stylist, videographer, the model Helen and me
-
Excellent results, gorgeous model
-
Excellent model, and work :) Calvin

On the first picture, there is some artefact (?) on the right side of her nose. On the last picture: what happened with her thumb ?
-
Very nice and lots of variety !
-
Lovely model and images.
MFloyd asked two very interesting questions. I haven't notived the artifact on the first one on her nose. I suppose her thumb is like that?
-
Beautiful work. May I ask about the lighting?

Very interesting MFloyd, thank you, I hadn't noticed my editing mistake on the nose, the thumb is part of Helen and not my editing problem :) here is hopefully a better edit of the strange nose effect

hey thanks golunvolo, the lighting in this selection is all natural light, late afternoon in early September on the outskirts of Madrid, no added reflectors, just the light coloured buildings (and the floor in some cases) helped fill in

Great for the re-edit ! With regard to her thumb; this might be the result of excessive "thumb-chewing" during childhood (or later); nevertheless, it is not very aesthetic and may be she should avoid showing too much of her thumb during shootings.
Otherwise, very nice pictures ;)

A thumb like that is known as a drumstick, may be a sign of a domineering person.

It's called racquet nail - where the width is greater than the length of the nail. It may be associated with a few syndromes (all dermatological e.g. Brooke Spiegler - multiple trichoepitheliomata) and a few diseases (hypoparathyroidism with resorption of bone) but can occur 'normally'. The actress from Transformers Megan Fox also has them

I did think her hand position was a little awkward in the thumb photo, next time ill pay a bit more attention

Hey Fons, she is a formidable person, with PHD and speaking with her she appears to be a very big brain on legs

That was my impression but it is so nice and controlled that may have had some extra help. Kudos on that front as well.
