Taken yesterday in the freezing Manhattan.
Thank you for looking.

A fine shot with a lot of atmosphere.

The acid test would be a similar photograph with the sun included rather than blocked. If flare is a problem with hiding the sun behind something like a tree in this photograph can really help. Normally I'd take a photograph with the sun in the upper right or left hand corner. You'll have to do the best you can with this particular lens.  :) :D ;)

I like the three trees and the building as a focal point, back lit leaves, shadows, deep blue sky. Thanks!

Beautiful image.  Way more than a flare test!

Superb image but not a flare resistence test as said before.

Great replacement for the 16mm f/3.5!

Thank you all for the comments.
this was not supposed to be a flare resistance test. I just used the title (misleading, I know) because I was surprised not to see any kind of flare/ghosts in this picture.
