Title: Mac OS High Sierra - graphic card LUT is not upgraded after screen recalibration
Post by: MFloyd on October 18, 2017, 10:56:55
If you proceed to your periodical screen (re)calibration and you just have upgraded to Mac OS High Sierra, there are chances that your new ICC profile is not operational.  Indeed, the new curb of the ICC profile will not be flashed into the Look Up Table (LUT) of your graphics card.  This seems to be a known problem by Apple and they are supposed to work on a solution... DataColor - the provider of the Spyder calibration hard- and software - provided me with a workaround solution: please go to System Preferences -> Displays and click on the Colour tab: by simply clicking on the Tab, the ICC profile will be flashed into the graphic card (LUT).

I had the problem, and it worked out.

Thanks, Christian . Many of us are waiting for a .1 update to High Sierra before we upgrade to it. Hopefully, this issue, along with other glitches, will be resolved with that update.
