Their camouflaged colors in relation to their natural background is uncanny.

It was a cool, overcast, somewhat foggy morning.
Figured the shot was kinda boring ... looked mostly gray in the viewfinder ... but I captured the mated pair nonetheless, just because.
When I looked at the image blown-up (yes!) the subtle blending of colors (grays-to-browns-to-pinks), was just awesome: the doves were perfectly-colored for their foothills/mountain environment.
Nature never ceases to fascinate ...
