After the monochrome series, I thought to post some landscape photos in color.
1-4 in Glencoe area, 5 in Kinlochleven, and 6 on the road to Mallaig (Ardnambuth). The Jacobite train used for the Happry Potter movies passed here. In fact, we waited for an hour to see the train passing.

What gear Peter?
Nikon D810 + 24mm 1.8G, polarizer, olympus PEN-F with 17mm. 4*3 format is Oly (#2, 4 and 7)

Peter, you captured the majestic landscape under the moody climate in Scotland really nicely.
I particularly like the second one in the second batch. In the very last image, you were blessed with the clouds, too!

Thank you Akira. Yes, I was lucky to have those clouds and the polarizer.
Herewith another batch, taken along the scenic road between Inverness and Pitlochry (A939 and a93).

Wonderful serie of images, PeterN!
Not easy to choose a favorite, because there`s something special with every one of them. Really like your compositions! Also like the deep colors and the dramatic sky. The people in the pictures gives the images an extra "dimension". Don`t see work like this very often, nice work!

Thank you for your kind words.
Two more: Eilean Donan Castle, Kyle of Lochasch
One series to go after this.

Love the idyllic landscapes in the later batch! Thanks for posting!
-
These pictures are a pleasure to look at.
-
Your beautiful photographs make me realise that I haven't spent time in Scotland for far too long.
Glen Coe in sunlight is really beautiful. I saw it under heavy cloud and found the place quite forbidding but that impression was probably coloured by knowing what had happened there.
I once gave a dinner party and it was only as my guests were about to arrive that I realised to my huge embarrassment that I had invited a couple of McGregors together with two Campbells although, fortunately, no McDonalds as well.
The evening fortunately passed without bloodshed.
-
Some very nice images here, Peter, and it's interesting to see another photographer's "take" on some very familiar (to me) locations. Each set of images contains some real beauties but my favourite set is the second one; I think a few of the first set could be processed to give a darker, more contrasty result? But all a real pleasure to look at.

Thank you for your kind words.
Ann: the MacDonalds probably thought "not again". Fortunately the various clans get along much better these days!
Peter: I will definitely try that. However, I opted for the somewhat dreamy look caused by the circumstances. Probably I can spend days photographing these beautiful places at various times of the day.
