Title: Difference between APO Lanthar 125mm 2,5 in SLi and SLii
Post by: Gigas on September 18, 2017, 10:32:28
What is the difference between the two SLi and SLii? Is there a Nikon mount on both?

There is no SLii version as far as I know, I have never seen one,,,

The later versions of the other focal lengths have different mechanical internals and not the 'universal' interchangeable mount

Ok, and thank you. I will hunt also for a lens like that with a Nikon mount!

If I remember correctly, the Nikon F mount SLII lenses had CPUs.  Apo-Lanther 125/2.5 had been discontinued before the lineup was updated to SLII.

This is a pretty good site for Voigtlander lenses:
https://www.cameraquest.com/Voigt_SL2.htm

No idea about his prices but he has been recommended to me by several folk I trust .  The site has a lot of info.

About the highest prices you may find on the net...but very reliable.

Dr Klaus, that appears to be true on prices and also they have eliminated some of the more detailed info on older lenses.  I use Robert White (UK) although he is no longer with us and the ownership has changed.  I normally get some good prices from them and have pretty consistent contact with UK if gear needs repair (pretty tough and expensive here in India for Leica and Voigt).
Cheers,
