I like the last one best, due to the more simplistic compostion (less competing elements). This makes the "creature" stand out even more, also helped by the colour contrast. Very nice. I wonder what the insect on the middle image is, it has the body of a wasp and the head of a fly.

Agree with Kjetil.  The simple background let the viewer spot the critter immediately.

I think it may be some sort of thick-headed fly mimicking a potter wasp. It lacks the proper antennas of a wasp. A clever survival strategy.
