This evening I was hoping to catch a bit of the eclipse on the beach but the clouds weren't friendly to me.
Nevertheless, there were a lot of surfers floating about offering inspiration.
-
Hmmmmmm .... I am totally eclipsed by your footage. Great shots, but "off topic" ... ROTFL!
-
Jakov, these blurry images tells us how much you lose the light. ;D
-
Frank and Akira, what can I say the eclipse escaped me so the only thing that I could do is make some blurry images with what was in front of me :)
D750 and 300PF are a nice combo!
Thanks!

Eclipse in Scheveningen was so cool Jakov. :)
I love the shot with surfer's legs.
-
Thanks, Anirban! I did have a great time with a friend of mine. Disappointed of not catching the partial eclipse of course...
-
very nice feet image 8)
-
Ditto on the feet
-
Armando and Erik, thank you so much! Feet it is :)
In the evening my friend Miljan and I met with another friend Dejo, and we three Montenegrins, went for some jazz to a place called The Crazy Goat.
The eclipse of the night was Alkistis Labropoulou a lovely young jazz singer.
Since the D750 and the 300PF were at my disposal I made a few tight portraits (not her feet though).
Thank you!

Jakov, wonderful portraits, my favorite being #1
-
Thank you Armando, I appreciate it!
-
Strongly agree - a beautifully balanced image of a beautiful young woman. Well done Jakov.
Jakov, wonderful portraits, my favorite being #1

Hugh, thank you very much! Who knows perhaps she will use them for her future career :)
-
Those are very sharp portraits Jakov. What happened? ::)
Love the way you framed them and your PP.
-
Dear Anirban, thank you so much!
I had no choice but to frame tightly in a cramp jazz bar with a 300mm lens. So sorry I didn't have the 135DC, I would have had a bit more room for maneuvering and making them blurry :)
-
Great series with different styles, Jakov. I like especially the last one of the 'blurries' and the first portrait. !
-
Had the sky been clear you may have missed the great feet shot... It would have been a pity.
And I agree that the first portrait stands out.
-
The jazz singer images are very nice. I like the fade to black effect in the first one a lot.
-
Loved the feet! And the portraits too.
Isn't it fun to be able to shoot absolutely anywhere, and almost in the dark too, these days?
-
Thank you, John! It was all about improvising and having fun :)
Thank you, Olivier! The bad brings good with it sometimes. I am still sorry I didn't catch the sunset partial eclipse...
Thank you, Arthur! It's so easy to do BW photos nowadays with all the software out there.
Thank you, Ann! I see the feet have quite a few followers, how symbolic :) Ann, shooting absolutely anywhere and with whatever gear is not only fun but amazing. All of the modern bodies and lenses offer so much possibilities we couldn't have dreamed of in the past. Joy, most certainly :)
Thank you all, once more :)
