you show a great random+consistant distribution of clouds, hills and cows in the first one

I like these shots, especially the first one.  Excellent use of the wide angle lens.  One could wish for more detail in the shadows, but not at the cost of upsetting the overall tonal rendering, which is very nice.  Who says digital can't be used to create good black and white?
