According to Sony, the video is the first 4k one ever shot with the camera produced for the consumer use:

Shot from the Japanese section "Kibou" of ISS. The nightscape was shot at ISO 52100.

Thanks for the heads-up Akira.
It may be a first, but it's not very gripping footage - sorry

Colin, we would need 4k monitors to fully appreciate the image quality, although it is not artistically happening.

Especially at the night filming, I am able to follow the car head light over the mountains, or something moving like this! Impressive, anyway! THX! LZ

Wow, that's amazing! Do you have a 4k monitor? Thanks for the review!

I've sent this file to 65" 4K TV. Look very close to Tokyo area. Down there and a little bit left there is a blinking light - clearly visible car's head light, interrupted time-to-time, moving towards Tokyo! Fantastic! LZ

Thanks for the details, LZ!

I watched at 1080p and still it is fascinating, more so the night portion
What interests me more is the fact that is shot from the ISS , seems the camera is outside ? I can't copy paste the video text to a translator

Armando, you are right. Sony boasts that A7SII is the first consumer use camera to shoot 4k video "outside" the ISS.
