Taken in downtown Toronto a number of years ago.
I was in the downtown waiting for a now-forgotten event to take place when I noticed stacks of soft plastic pylons that were to be used that day to cordon off the public from the parade route.
The ring of flash (excess plastic from the molding process) along the bottom of each pylon made an interesting pattern and I grabbed this shot.

It does indeed make for an interesting shot! Quite the abstract.
Without your explanation i would have never guessed the origins of this very nice picture.

Very nice suitable rendering for film, framing is also nice

Robert, at first glance I got all excited with what I thought was a food shot - then I read the text! ;D
Never-the-less a nice shot with its framing and smooth blending of colours and textures - as others have noted.
