Title: Today in the garden
Post by: David Paterson on July 24, 2017, 17:09:42
Really fine days have been few this year but a day like today makes us realise how very lucky we are, in many ways.

#1 - #7  - the garden
#8  - the field next door

That looks like a perfect slugfree Hosta leaf :)

All nice shots, the sheep looking toward the camera has extra charm.

I like it that you have left some "wild" in place.
It was a delight to tour your and Mayumi's garden when we were in Scotland at the Nikongear meetup!

The pleasant atmosphere of the unfortunately rare fine weather is very well captured here.

I love the last shot.  The texture of the clouds and the wool correspond with each other really nicely.

Andrea - Mayumi will be happy to know you like her garden; she is extremely proud of it. And we do like our "wild" areas - so do the birds, butterflies and other small creatures.

Akira - only you, I think, could have made a connection between the clouds and the sheeps' wool   ;D  but you are right, of course. I didn't see the connection myself until I read your post.
