The woman's dress is festive, perhaps she's a performer?

It is festive all right. There is a 10 days long party -"feria"- every year. People wear folkloric dresses, specially women. She is also a part of the court of the "queen of the fair" and was in her way to attend and event.

Maybe you can get a shot of her from the front. The pwrty soinds like a great opportunity, not just for her, but interesting shots in general.

I don't know how many frames you shot, but these selected set makes a nice variation of improvisational shooting.

Thank you Akira. I came home with 110 images total. I selected 17 and finally decided to show here 3 that I find interesting or are related somehow.

On a non photographic matter, I wonder about other people rates  ::)

Gracias Armando. I have lower keeper rates than I had wen I first started to take pictures of live performances  :o But then again life is even less predictable  ;D

These are good - I really like the first - so much going on - the disconnect with the suburban, the colour... its shots like this that makes street shooting so much fun. I like it shot form the back.

I'm not sure about what the average  keeper rates are. I think 17 good ones out of 110 is pretty good but depends on where you are shooting I think. I love HKG because there are so many people that the shot will always be telling some story so keeper rate can be high.

Interested in seeing more

Nightshots with d750 and 58mm 1.4 I´m afraid I took many of the shots just to enjoy the quality of the equipment. I was amazed. I had never had such tools at my disposal and I´m blowing away. I guess it is a normal process and, once I have get use to what it can produce, I´ll be back.

  Playing with darts
  A fellow photographer
  Balloons and lights
  Blurry -Jakov!-  ;D
  Looking at the fireworks.
