Great renovation, Akiyama-san!

One of the great thing about the renovated Red Book Nikkor is that the optical designs (cross sections) are generously revealed.

I would love to get one... can't find one for an acceptable price ($3000 is not acceptable lol).

Bahh, I'll just wait for Laowa's x2.5-x5 Super macro lens.

Hm. Better take care of my sample of the UMN 55/2 then. I vaguely remember buying it for the princely sum of USD 30,- twenty years ago :D Including shipping, though.
