Title: Judy B.

Another photo I came across while I was going through my slide files for my photo essay on Family.
 This shot of Judy, the oldest daughter of old friends was taken about 28 or 29 years ago. The  light of the setting sun was wonderful, and I asked her not to smile.
 She was and still is, good friends with our Son, and by quite another route, became good friends starting in High School with our Daughter-in-Law.

 probably 2.8 @ 1/500

Thanks for the kind comments.

As I said, I asked her not to smile, because from experience I know that little Munchkins often have spaces in their smiles because they've lost baby teeth, and as well, so many of them produce a clenched teeth phony grin when asked to pose, so I often ask them to 86 the smile and give me a pout, which always seems to give the child an aura of attitude that adds to the shot.
