On Saturday I attended a workshop at the Nikon School in London.  The subject was Urban Dance photography.  Here are some of my results.

Thank you, Armando and Jacov.

It was a very interesting experience, and the personality and professionalism of the model greatly contributed.  Dance photography is full of possibilities, but I think I need to know a lot more about dance to do it justice.

I would rethink and reedit the bw picture 839. The washed out parts of her face irritate me.

The first three are absolutely adorable.

I miss you.

Thanks, Frank and Peter.

Frank, there is a little story behind the b+w.  I set myself the challenge to shoot for the ambient and to capture the flash triggered by another course participant.  On the first attempt I succeeded (subsequent attempts were failures).  The resulting exposure was weird, so I decided to try it as a b+w high key.  It is not entirely successful, but I enjoyed the challenge.  I do not think any more detail is there to recover. :(
