Title: Zebra Mosaic Butterfly
Post by: Randy Stout on March 08, 2017, 03:00:11
This fellow was imaged last week at the local arboretum. This species tends to be fairly sedentary, so you can work them a bit before they fly away.

D500  Sigma 180  f/3.5  1/80 sec f/9  ISO 1250

Advice and comments always appreciated.

Cheers

I like this picture : nice compo, creamy bokeh and sharp subject. Perhaps a little lack of contrast (on the wings), but this is just a subjective appreciation.

I guess the lens is the macro version ?

I had the 150mm version and I enjoyed it a lot. ;)
